Whole house water filtration:
POU — At my kitchen sink I would like a:
- counter-top system — does not require plumbing — can be considered somewhat “portable.” Good for renters, students and others who do not own the property or may be moving along someday soon and would want to take their water treatment system with them. Easy, “no-tools” install and uninstall.
- under-the-counter system — simple plumbing installation. Out of the way under the sink cabinet so it doesn’t clutter up the sink counter-top. Usually larger than counter-top units, meaning they last longer before needing replaced. Includes connector “saddle valve,” water feed lines and chromed goose-neck faucet hardware for dispensing drinking water separate from raw tap water. Minor plumbing job — most experienced homeowners or a general handyman can handle the install.
